Thank you for Considering me for your Creative Needs!

Here is some important information you may need during the design process.

Services and Pricing

I offer an array of services at Shannon Conway Art & Design, ranging from alternative-style items for bands and musicians — to presentations for corporations.
I carefully listen to what potential clients need and put together a unique proposal based on their situation and goals.

It’s important to remember that you are not hiring me just to design a simple graphic,
but rather, to listen to your needs and design solutions that can problem solve and grow your brand.

All clients will receive their own custom design brief laying out the terms of specific projects and pricing.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out via e-mail.

Hours and Operations

Communication is key. I believe it is important to let clients know when they can expect communications for their intended services.

I understand that people’s schedules are not all the same and some do not follow the traditional work week of Monday - Friday.

As a result, I try to make accommodations for everyone including answering e-mails at non-traditional times such as on nights and weekends if important issues arise.

However, this is not a guarantee as I also believe that taking care of my family is important as well. I will try my best to answer e-mails and phone calls as they come through, but all may not be answered until the open business hours listed.

For continuity purposes, I do ask that all business related inquiries be communicated via e-mail rather than text message.

File Delivery

All files will be delivered via a Google Drive link.

The link will remain active for 30 days after delivery to ensure you have an ample amount of time to download the files.

I do ask that all clients download the files and place them securely in their own storage methods.
Due to the high volume of clients I work with, my storage fills up fast and I am forced to delete older files from my Google Drive.
(I provide design services and not cloud based storage services, so please understand I cannot store your files for you indefinitely.)

Frequently Asked Questions

How long do projects take?

Turnaround time is based off of demand and project complexity. Typically, you are looking at 1-3 weeks start to finish pending I have all the information I need to start.

Projects that are needed next day or in less than a week are subject to up to a 50% price increase. I do recommend to allow at least two weeks for your project though so it can be properly researched and get the attention it deserves to ensure it’s the best it can be.

How are projects delivered?

Projects are delivered in a high resolution format via Google Drive.

How many revisions do I get?

Your happiness with the final product is my highest priority. Three revisions are included in the price of all digital projects.

Depending on the nature of the revision, further may be included free of charge. Additional time and revisions are charged at $65.00/hr. If a revision is beyond the scope of the included price, I will inform you before work starts.

How does payment work?

50% payment up front is required for work to start. The remaining 50% is due before delivery of final files. New customers may be subject to full payment up front. Payment plans of post-work payment arrangements may be discussed.

I accept PayPal, Venmo, CashApp, Cash, or Check. If using PayPal, it is the client’s responsibility to pay for the additional 4% PayPal fees. This will show as a special line on your invoice.

Why is there an intended use rule?

Prices are created not only by the complexity and estimated amount of work time, but by their intended use. Intended use is very similar to getting royalties for design work. For example, a logo will be used in every single aspect of your brand or business. Whereas, a t-shirt design may be printed only once and never used again. The more the design is estimated to be used, the higher the cost of the design. It is not fair to the artist (myself) if you purchase a t-shirt design and then use it to brand your entire business. Which is why you may ask...

Why do I have to pay extra for native files?

The native files are the skeleton key to the designs. Having the native files makes it possible to rearrange or re-use them for multiple projects. These are available for additional purchase so you can use them for multiple designs and projects outside of the original project discussed. Some projects may have these included in them such as logo and branding bundles.

What if I don’t like my final project?

It’s the nature of the industry that you won’t like everything from every artist. This is why it’s important to thoroughly check out the portfolio of a creative before you hire them to make sure they are a good fit for you. Likewise, I will research your project and make sure you are a good fit for me. In the instance you don’t like your final product after all revisions, I will try my best to come to a reasonable resolution with you for your project.
